Peppered Blue Sky
Spiritually a lark symbolizes hope, joy and triumph. It often represents new beginnings and inspiration because of its association with dawn. It is also seen as a divine messenger, a symbol of optimism and encouragement, bringing joy as one expresses one's authentic life.
Lost in a world of technicolored dreams
life begins anew amidst
indigo fantasies of splintering light.
Every first step reframes the journey
of the millionth first attempt.
Flying on the wings of hope
we are beckoned
by the quiet calling,
of a carefree, Celestial lark.
"Come fly with me" whispers, the wing
to the stubborn legs ...
Suddenly we are
all torso and feathers
beneath the Rayleigh scatterings of
a deeply peppered blue sky.
