People I Meet
if He decides the people I meet
and I decide who stays or leaves
who gets to stay, who walks away
who is true and who betrays
sometimes I walked away too quick
something just didn't seem to click
sometimes I know that I ran
before a relationship began
some I've held on to too long
although the feelings were strong
some I've let go too soon
one of them may have been you
