People

People are strange
The way that they change
Without explanation
They just, aren’t the same

They’ll fail to admit
This new development
Or justify cause
So one may repent

Instead, they evolve
A problem, unsolved
Which leaves you to question
If you mattered at all

In the following days
They’ll find many ways
To be passive aggressive
To spit in your face

They find satisfaction
From the slightest reaction
And then point their finger
At your loss of traction

“Now look what you’ve done
See, you, were the one
And now you are tangled
In the web, you have spun”

I don't think people change. Like the song says we never learn and we never change. Oh we might make a few minor adjustments but once we reach about age 16 through 18 we are who we are. Dr Jekyll at home and Mr Hyde in public. IMO

Here's to the other people, who change the other way! Cheers, Gershon
