Pensive Poetry

When heaven's earth knows it's rebirth.
Horizons fade away.
In passive penance we learn to love.
The place where we must stay.

Aglow with peace that's from within.
The day's freely unfold.
With answers that never begin.
Rewarding, but withhold.

Thoughtful dreams to fill the soul.
Requainting mystic memories.
They will start to take their toll.
When hate is all the heart see's.

To know tomorrow's book of tales.
Preserve the past preread.
Wisdom know's what must prevail.
What word's must not be said.

Your poetry is always a joy to read, so is your many variant themes, many which need bringing to the fore...this poem is one of those.......

your title is very fitting. This is quite pensive, my friend. Love that final stanza and how it sums up your message.
