Penguin Parade

the parade of stereotypes and must haves
wear false grins
living inside their
Bubble of perfection
their
         eyes are closed

a blinded society
to the worlds realities

living in zombie land

you can hear them say
"I`m happy and safe here
so why should I care about you"

to the monster
they point and stare
as they travel down
the contradiction highway

chained like a slave
the shadows of ignorance follows
to the sound of the clock
ticking away
      to what
           we can
              loose

so
  valuables are lost
to
 the acceptance beast
