Pellucid Skies
Vermilion accents infuse twilight
As a menagerie of birds take flight
Mockingbirds sing their song on the wing
Rhythmic ripples, to the dusk they cling
Hearts filled with emotions await love's luscious present
as pellucid skies with starry intent
Twinkle love's aroma as frangipani shrubs spread their scent
Heavenly bodies, when their constellations permit,
Traverse ancestral beliefs of Zeus's myth
Flickering in the sky as messages they emit
