Peers

Listen to poem:
Who are these peers to whom I'm supposed to belong to? Certainly not my soul mates, nor kin. I fear they're lackey leerers, peering and sneering, in unsavory ways. Smearing my reputation by claiming I'm in their in-crowd, all endearing and revering when I'm not. I'm a mutineer from the peer besmear, So let's be clear about that!
