Peering In

I peer into spring
Colors are brilliant, painting the world
The light blue skies, and crystal water
Sun bringing warmth to all creatures
Flowers a mass of smells and color
Overwhelming to the naked eye
Showers of cool rain, turn things green
And leave puddles on all my sidewalks
Fluffy clouds are scattered in the blue sky
Of all shapes and sizes for me to pick out
A pattern, that Heaven seems to be painting for me
More and more people seem to be out and about
Walking their dogs, or just going for a short jog
All smiling faces, breathing in the spring air
The smell of freshly cut grass in my nose
And damp Earth underneath my feet
Looking up, past the blue skies
And into the Heavens
Thanking God
For this
Spring
Day
