Peeky Blinders Slam

Peeky Blinders

Flat Caps adorned with Razor Blades

Clandestine meetings in smogy working-class Pubs with sawdust underfoot

No rest for the downtrodden or wicked

Fodder for the Industrial Gentry

On the reverse side

Only Gangs from the Underworld Thrive

The Stage for a Gritty Drama

Faces etched on Bleak Prison Wall's

Now forgoten Town's rundown

Descendants with uncertain futures

Born in the wrong Decade

Yet still a Slave

Peeky Circumstances

Dark alliances

I know what you mean Jan. Didn't think i would like it either but as you know tv is nothing but repeat repeat repeat so i gave it a chance and you know what it's not bad at all. If nothing else it's a history lesson from bygone times. Cheers my Love
