Pebbles and Boys

Sleeping in the forest a pool of water lies
Waiting there it is, for nature and her things
She put it there for frogs that sing and pretty butterflies
And for boys throwing pebbles just to watch the rings
Making funny faces as the clouds see themselves
Ripples making ripples making more ripples grow
Even pebbles know they are made for boys to throw
And the pool in the forest will just wait the boys to go
