Pearl Wings
I have a breaking heart,
No family, no friends.
I live a life of seclusion,
Only darkness brightens my days.
I like to look upon my life,
Before the darkness came.
So fruitful, so fun...
I had been in love...
He was an excellent man.
"Was," as my key word.
We sat upon a wall one day,
The sun shone bright.
He gave me bad news,
That brought infinite to my night.
I always remember that he broke my heart,
And my shining, pearl wings.
I called upon my god that day,
But no reply ever came.
I had a broken heart,
New family, New friends.
I live a life of joy,
Only he brightens my days.
I like to look upon my life,
Before my love came.
So dark, so dreary...
I had been lost,
So alone...
"Had," as my keyword.
He came upon a horse one day,
A shining light against my neverending night.
He gave me good news,
That brought me great delight.
I always remember my darkness,
And my dark, onix wings.
I called upon my love that day,
And his reply was soft,
"I'll never break your heart like him," he said.
"I'll love you to the end."
I've never had a broken heart again.
I thank my god for that.
My wings shine bright and pearl,
A relief to my people,
For my love has come to save my days!
