Pearl, My Little Pup

Shivering and calm you were,
when in my arms you came.
White as pearl you seemed,
and thats how you got your name.

You rekindled my life,
and brought a smile on my face.
The naughtiness in your eyes,
gives an add on to your grace.

I love seeing you jumping,
and playing all around.
My heart melts seeing you sleeping,
and make me smile with your snoring sound.

i scold you at times,
when my hand you bite.
But love you my baby 'pearl',
when still you want my lap to sleep at night.

Reading this reminded me of the song "Fluffy" by Gloria Balsam. You have decent descriptiveness and rhyming in this presentation.
