"pearl" a Cinderella Story

Here's the story of Cinderella
But not the way you've heard
Promise if I tell you this
You'll never utter a word

Cinderella, Cindy, for short
Tho her name was actually, Pearl
(Never had no mean stepmother)
She just traveled around the world

See, she won a medieval game show
And got to go visit the Prince
The King and Queen have vanished
And nobody has seen them since

No one knows where the money came from
But we think it's mighty suspicious
For Cindy was a champion mud wrestler
That went by the name of Miss Vicious

There wasn't no pretty glass slippers
She always wore her boots
They come in handy for the job she did
Did I tell you she pulled up roots?

Anyway, her and the Prince took a luxury cruise
The Barge was the state of the art
It was a mixture between the Titanic
And just a hint of Noah's ark

The Prince has inherited the castle
But now there's a funky smell
(Remember I said his parents are gone?)
That's coming from the courtyard well

The King and Queen have never been found
And the kingdom's become a disaster
So the Prince and Cindy never got caught
And they lived Happily Ever After

I'm only kidding, the prince confessed,
And they threw them both in jail
Come back later, when you've got some time
And I'll have a new story to tell

I always wondered about her! Thanks for the truth, Larry.
