Peanuts Brash and Loud

When I took a toke,
a peanut boldly spoke,
and took a stick to poke
me in the nose,
but you didn't see me froze.

I will not be cowed
by peanuts, brash and loud.
Courageous and so proud,
with a compass and a rudder,
I turned them into butter -

and with a cracker made of graham,
I'll spread them thick with jam.
That's the kind of guy I am.
If peanuts ever bother you,
I hope you'll do that too.
