Peaceful Soul

I looked up at the sky and the heavens began to rain down on me I joyously danced as the rain wet my cheeks And made muddy puddles under my feet The cool mud ran through my toes and My mind grew blank of all my woes The rain had washed my troubles away Like the water in the sink as it runs down the drain Freely flowing my hair was in the wind and Hoping that time would never end I sheltered myself under a tree and watched the raindrops Drip down beside me One by one they fell to the ground As my eyes gaze into the puddle I realized my serenity
