Peaceful Scene

Water coming down 
            gentlly
  onto a verdant forest
Sounds of birds and monkeys
         fill the air
At the end of the trail
a blue-green pool 
         with graceful tropical 
          fish
    Moving slowly in the
waters
        Sun beats down down upon
the waters, the forest and 
         ourselves
   Beautiful butterflies
dance in the moist air
        Let the scent 
        of this paradise
let you 
          feel one 
with nature
         As you re-invent 
yourself this afternoon 
         Remember that 
you're only here
      for a short while
Enjoy nature's bounty 
while you can
        Before the waters 
turn to mist
      and nature's creature's 
reach the end
                     of their trails
