Peaceful Reflections
Peace sets its tide,
On which I ride...
For joy to glide,
Without an hint of pride,
Before fate gets to guide
Chaotic ocean that was once calm:
Peaceful aplomb-
Its tides becalm,
Like a holy and soothing psalm,
After been tried out with a bomb.
Consequently shifts not yet in rage,
But calm rage's gauge-
Put its weight in cage,
Such is a doing of unspoken sage
Whose acts are sealed offstage!
Despite its ocean's waves colliding...
Yet crash forces abiding,
To pull unto subsiding,
Moving strikes in anguish dividing...
An influential check cum deciding-
Far away the bright and shining sun,
I choose never to shun,
The game's bait of fun...
Deep in heart's depth, silent scopes run,
Mind's melody unto the cool moon undone...
Not minding the rhythm of the song,
Or the beats along...
Been right nor wrong,
But to find happiness even with a gong,
Wherever it finds a life to remain young.
Then I discovered how greed; unfulfilled,
Gets many killed...
Though some skilled,
Lead others astray when disruption drilled,
What contentment can never rebuild.
Happy International Photography Day!
