Peace Ii

The silence is deafening, no one is talking as the count is posted on the nightly news. Far more than 9-11 are the obscene figures for Arab lads from across the world slain at our hand. This is insanity, this is a travesty and no one speaks. This is not war, this is revenge, a slaughter, murder. We must walk tall we must be proud enough to come home and we will all face whatever anyone throws at us. We will face it here. We are brave and strong and we've thrown enough bombs at their widows!! Stop! Stop! Peace Now!

Great what you wrote here, Sue!!! War is never a solution, neither is revenge! About Afghanistan only to mention that this war cannot be won. The Sovjets before failed and so will all others. It is the same with Iraq. Thea all don't want Western hapits and ideology and this we have to respect. I have lived for some time on a kibbutz in Israel and I am also informed about the problems. Problems can never be solved with hatred and fights...Wishing you a relaxing weekend...Gert

Sue, I don't know enough about the intricacies of what is happening there to intelligently know how to comment. I was truly against Iraq. I felt we should have stayed in Afghanistan all along. It may be too late by now to curtail anything. I think you are probably right on this. What a sad world it is! why can't we all just get along?? LUv, Andrea

Man will never learn. WAR DOES NOT SOLVE ANY ISSUES. As long as young men and women are willing to go fight wars for these politicians. Let them go fight their wars. Great write, Sue. Peace and love, Audrey
