Peace Be Still

25 dec 2017 2:46 pm

Peace be still

Sitting alone in my quiet world
I can hear my heart beat as thoughts through my mind swirl

Imaginations memories and anxieties
Churning my emotions into an angry sea

Deeply i breath and slowly sigh
I stop wondering and questioning why

I center my mind and proclaim peace be still
The sea becomes calm and under my will

The sun sets and i sail on
With the worry behind me and singing a song
