Peace and Joy

I have a peace deep down within, joy that is untold,
That is not based on circumstance the world has never known,
My joy is strength in times of pain; the Lord gives abundantly
The devil wants to steal them both, then kill, and destroy me.

The joy of the Lord is my Strength, the devil knows that well
If he gets my joy, he gets my strength that’s one of the reasons he fell.
He’ll pass my check book, and fancy car, my holidays near and far,
To have my peace, and joy within. NO he can’t, the greater one lives within.
