Peace
A small word but with great meaning
Essential for the survival of human being
Everybody is in search of peace
Which is not within easy reach
Man has too many ambitions
Causing his own destructions
War here, war there
War is widespread every where
We are victims of social unrest
Absence of peace in every nest
With the innumerable massacres in Palestine
When will the light shine?
Immersed in the game of balance of power
Powerful nations are fortifying their towers
Even if peace treaties tend to increase
Peace organisations have no power to make war cease
It seems to be just a cry in the desert
Bombarding is becoming a daily concert
In a world devoid of tranquility
Is there any future for humanity?
