Peace

My thoughts are few and far between
As the stillness of the day rejuvenates my being

The quietness overwhelming sometimes I can’t bear
Looking out beyond with an open stare

I’m all alone now my heart’s feeling heavy
Beating, exploding like a broken levy

Not sure what this is am I thinking too much?
Haven’t felt like this with all the quiet and such

No I’m not scared, just noticing more
My mind just wandering like never before

The stress, the nerves all bad feelings have ceased
Happy now realizing I’m just at peace
