We just lost an officer in my small hometown a couple months ago, just trying to do his job. And my dad is an officer as well. I wish people knew how true this poem was. Strong imagery, Ralph.

Good Luck in the contest Ralph.. my ex was a cop for many years and we prayed for his safety day and night.. prayer works... Matt changed his contest up a bit since I entered mine so u must start your poem with his words..and now I have to go back and fix mine too.. am in Myrtle Beach this week, Fort Lauderdale for three days, Long Island N.Y. a few days and then Jersey shore.. near my home... lovely vacation.. well needed too.. with luv from the "Sweetheart"
