Peace

Peace by Jerry Thomas May When I gaze out my window to beauty as far as my eyes allow me to see, In the glass I also see a reflection of me...looking at curious me. Distracted from below by the scurrying pedestrians mindlessly driving their cars, I wonder if they would care that I cared from afar. I remembered this planet was born of water, warmth and...evolutionary fates, Which evolved a curious species into a complicated aberration love and hate. All stuck on a planet tempered and manipulated by diseases, wars and change...human nature resists. All straining for survival and personal relevance with some new twist. Alas, if the truth be told to those willing to bend an ear, We are all here but a very short time and truly every single life is dear. Not...the end.
