Paw of Love

I felt something and then I saw
my cat sprawling out
touching me with her paw.

my surroundings became numb
she tried to gain my sight
but I just played dumb.

 Nudging my arm in spite
her whiskers spreading about
it was tranquil but a delight.

she stared and I stared in awe
what could be better than this
but precious love from her paw.
