Pause For Awhile
Have you ever pause for awhile and thought
What have you been doing with your life?
I think you know what I'm talking about
It's all in your head, those dreams and goals
You promised you’d do better this time
But what have you done?
Oh cant you see you’ve been trying too hard
But you’re just half asleep, day dreaming of the greens
Do you really think it’ll work out if you just wonder around
Or maybe you have set your eyes on something
you don’t really know about
I know its out of my hands but darling im stepping in
No I cant let you go back to where your life has been
I’ve seen too much and I’ve cared for awhile
So bear with me as we take a leap of faith
I know you’re worried, I’ve once been there
Its no easy road but I promise you better this time
Put your feet on the ground and know you’ll rise up
You’ve been through so much
That’s just who you are
So baby pause for a while and think
What you’ll be doing with your life
I know you know what im talking about
It's time to make those dreams come true
You’ll Keep it up with your promises
And I know you’d do better this time
Because that’s just who you are
