Pause For a Moment
Between each word and syllable
There are pauses
Ones that represent
Thought and, too, conveying
A lapse for dramatic effect
Between each beat of my heart
There are pauses
Ones that tell me
Of love and how it effects life
Inspiring passion for love and life
