Paulie My Pet Bee
Honeybee danced round beautiful indeed
singing in my ear and pink Joe-pye weed.
I tried to shoo it away
the hummer this summer day
a nasty sharp sting that is all I need
Twas beautiful as a sunflower head
the honeybee a pet I took to bed
Nectar for my Honey Nut
Cheerios it sought guess what
Paulie a nose of a blood hound I fed
Paulie my pet bee likes my girlfriend Dee
A picnic Dee and I under a tree
Paulie flew round the jasmine
Mayhem you can't imagine
A swarm charged us; Paulie was their queen bee.
