Patience When In Love

What remedy is there to take the pain away? I'm sick inside and its killing me that I only hear from you once a day. Surely you can do something so I won't feel this way. Seconds, minutes, to hours, I find myself still waiting by the phone. Of course time is valuable when you have a house of your own. All I can think of is you and I left all alone. I sometimes question if I need words of affirmation Or just simple words of confirmation. And no, no, no; I'm not lacking determination. You and only you is all I think of. Patience is truly a virtue coming from above. But, when I have you all to myself, there's going to be more than LOVE. "An old piece"

Through your poem I re-experienced many of such troubling circumstances, only to be reconciled with my realization of how precious life energy is and how useless to give it with nothing in return. Well written.
