Patience Is a Virtue

Patience is a virtue and patience I have
So call me a virtuous soul
No matter how long I must wait for you
I'm prepared to accept my role

Goals that are lofty and seem out of reach
Need much perseverance and luck
Determination is what will always succeed
Let 'em know who's driving the truck

Things that appear to be worth the wait
Deserve more patience than others
Like the love of a lady you've dreamed about
Forever you'll wait you'll discover

Patience is a virtue and patience I've had
As far back as I can remember
Way way back when I was just a toddler
Waiting for the 25th of December

Patience is a virtue, there's really no doubt
Things can seem really quite  distant
A fact young mother's should teach their kids
Not everything happens in a instant

Russell Sivey Date: 9/29/2013 6:08:00 AM Yes this is so very true, mothers definitely need to teach their children that not everything is instantaneous...they are so used to computers and the phones and ipads that respond quickly! I wish that kids wouldn't get to use this technology until they are in high school, that way they can learn without distractions, but that wouldn't work, how could you enforce that,and why would you make them illiterate for these items!
