patience
patience has to be practiced
a process worth learning
mostly, it’s a mind game
accepting the now with no yearning
yes you can see a future
but no time is involved
it’s a feeling of calmness
and surrender for life to evolve
it’s a presence that’s felt
both inside and out
like a shield that protects
if there’s calamity about
it’s important to know
that patience has a flow
it’s not without moving
towards the dreams you sow
even though it sits
in no time that exists
patience brings closer
the moments of life’s gifts
