Patie, My Bestie
An apple in this world of unripe lemons-
distinct and all that a man could desire.
Showers of rain in the Kalahari desert;
an oasis in the Sahara sands:
Utmost definition of sweetness-
equivalent to no soul in value.
An apple in an empty basket:
Alone in my heart.
As the clock ticks by, clouds drifting away,
insane I go, craving for more of you!
The world has nothing to offer, it is void of passion: even dry of love,
Save for this my sweet stream of cold waters –straight from the ocean of your heart!
Drawing nigh to my grave from this cup of your love I drink,
As the clock ticks by, strength from your heart I suck.
You are like sunset at Kariba! An experience no man can resist!
A moment in your arms is another tattoo on my heart,
A century I desire, this thirst to quench: to yield satisfaction from your seed of love;
To pay back the price of thine love I have splattered on the floors of my heart.
You are nothing but like a slice of cake;
Who can prolong the sweetness of your unconditional love?
Though a blessing it was to meet you,
From the deepest I still ask from more!
Now my friend lets proclaim our vows;
Promise never to part as if we never met!
Lets utter vanity from our mortal lips in this our space of time,
expecting everything from nothing.
Knowing within our hearts that this trance will forever last,
With the accompanying promises of now, shielding our lustful minds from the pressures of tomorrow.
Pee, mine love is on offer!
A friend like you I desire.
