Pathways
When your path is hidden from your soul ,
On the road that is tomorrow,
Every gasp of hope you can't control,
Will return like it was borrowed...
So the omen that will be fullfilled,
That will guide you to another,
Will be chosen as if so by will,
Among the millions you discover...
Along this knotted thread of circumstance,
In a web of second chances,
Is a plot that's fed within advance,
Before you have a chance to grasp it...
So as we live in fear of yesterday,
As it hides within the present,
We forgive each tear that will betray,
What we thought it represented...
And with each divide we take a step,
In an obvious direction,
Just to reach inside so we don't forget,
How we made the last connection ...
