Pathway
Every once in a while
someone unexpected
who comes into your life
will impact it in every way
the reason why is unclear
they make a strong impression
some will come for a while
some will stay a couple years
others will stay a lifetime
through all these you learn
to live, to grow, to love
to walk the road, unknown
but you gain knowledge
guiding your steps
along the pathway called life.
