Pathfinders' Blood
Rare are those among us who can learn
without committing errors,
without daring to become a bit more
than we are allowed to be,
without overstepping a line we are prohibited
from going beyond.
But they're the ones who do the perilous
trailblazing for most of us,
who map out the obstacles we can outgrow
and must overcome,
who, in the frenzy of finding what's beyond,
must draw the first blood!
