Path To Love

Path to love
__________________________________

Let me paint a picture for you,
a multi-colored canvas of love
It is bright like the dotted sky of scattered stars
glittery and breathtaking
It is the crisp grasping winds
so suttle and everchanging
It's like the popping dots of rain coming down
and storms emerge from within
Love is the imprint of many things
is it always fair? No
is it always fun? No
Do our hearts never break? No
but what would be the use, if something meant to be
wasn't worth the challenges
the throne of regrets and tears we cry
for something worth the cost of the true love we seek
for every bad break, is one more option unfound
a path less traveled
a closed-door opened
and a journey worth every mile.
