Path of Life

Path of Life

Roaming down the path of life
Taking steps to avoid strife 
Sometimes reaching a dead end
Losing the love of a best friend
Starting on another path
Hoping it’s better than the last

Seeking happiness all of the time
Wishing for someone to call mine
A sharing- love and laughter kind
Someone with whom I truly rhyme
Making life beautifully sublime

I just bumped into a person I'd traveled with years before...for the 3rd time; must be the one! Sometimes the one is there... their light may not shine brightly as expected... due to time and wear!
