Path

My feet have been stepping on your chest numerous times, path, How gladly, like a mother, accept me and each stranger! No complaint; no grudge feeling; not even a little wrath, How cheerfully you lay and keep safe beings from danger...! My ancestral story says that all have trodden on you, This is why you look so rough and tough and, yet, acceptive; Your love, compassion, and receptivity are so true, Even during days of fog, your way is not deceptive...! Each time when I tread on you I think of my path final, When I will not be walking on you; they will carry me; You have ever been like my so intimate code spinal, I love you so much and I want you to be always free...! Be open, as you are, dear path, that each one will feel safe, You should be able to show the way even to a waif...!!!
