Pasture
I take your hand
Across the pastures of the land
Where love spreads openly
In hidden places found remotely
And as we walk, I share
All the ways that I care
To accept who you are today
To meander through trails, finding our way
No-one is perfect in Nature’s song
We can only respect to avoid what is wrong
There are hills to climb in the terrain
As nature brings sunshine and rain
It is a mutual effort like birds that migrate
Together in a pattern with their mates
Love grows like a beautiful flower
After every passing shower
It takes nourishment, giving and sacrifice
Whatever it takes to suffice
Believing life can be an open pasture to see
Filled with opportunities abound
With patience, all will be gratefully found
