Pastels of Love

Water’s pale mist cascades over rocks. Inviting us to bathe, the cool overflow Snickers at our silly inhibitions. Standing in this natural retreat Dressed in pastels of love, We exchange shy smiles. Our tender embrace stretches out To gather budding yearnings Lodged in new houses. The water flows on and on, Until we no longer can deny Its temptress calling. Exposing nakedness, We laugh and play In pools by the rocks.
