Past Overdue

I remember when I first met you...I knew then how I'd feel for you. I tried to fight it but I knew it was there in your personality. I'd do whatever I could to fight the way I feel. But it was inevitable you'd conquer my heart still. That day I saw you standing there draped in blue. Hair down,earrings sparkling in your smile. In those few minutes I knew there was no way around it I'd love you no matter what I'd do. I had to have you. There's no other way it could be you'd have to be with me. If I had to journey to heaven to beg and plead, to ask God to please give you to me. From that moment on I knew I had to treat you like a Queen. And love you like no other greater love can be. Being with you has been greater than anything I could ever dream. I'd swim to the bottom of the ocean just for a kiss. I know there's no love greater than this. No love could have been ever more destined than this. I bet Romeo never felt for Juliet the way I feel for you. But it was love at first sight which was past overdue.
