past into present



the once laminated memories 
now peel away in folds 
each fold cutting deep 
haunting me 
the smiles and 
ecstatic laughter 
of those years
taunts me 
the ripples of youth dig
deep into my skin
seeping lines deep 
haunting me 
taunting me
