Past Gone By

Deep within my heart
There is a place I long to be
A place that’s filled with loving memories
A midnight kiss, a night of bliss
These are the things I truly miss
Waterfalls, music halls, watching little ones kick a ball
The time we walked a trail so long
Or when we danced to our favorite song
Simple words that beat so strong
I wish to be stuck like glue
for my heart beats just for you
