Past

Always remember the pull of the past
Let it not bring you regret
Just hope and peace
Drop your burden and let your spirit heal
Walk on the sunny side of the street
And reach out to those who fall
Falling is not failing
No matter how many times
Just pick yourself up again
Take a moment and embrace life
The breath and body you hold
Live and don't be afraid
Give your heart freely
Let the ice around it melt away
Stand on your own two feet
Carry the struggling
To a safe place out of the darkness
Believe and have faith in something
Anything
Let your soul here the call
Invite the calm
Release the pain
It's all temporary
All of it, everything
Except your seat in heaven
However near or far
Or unsure the belief.....
