stupid & regardless of your
rapping quietly on the door-
you know the password
but i want more- so, i,
tapping tongues &
scraping lungs, saunter to
the center, tempting you
to enter- expecting
hospitality, you move thru,
missing a shoe-
my malady whimpers
asks 'what do i do?'
fills the air with fear-
with much care you come
near, spitting words &
spinning worlds so fast
such ease- unbeknownst
you've stolen my swallowed
keys.
