Written: August 18, 2023 Pantoum Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Regina McIntosh ______________________________________________________________ The moon rises high in a land where spirits swell Passion, akin to stars, ignites a fervent heart flame Genuine grins shine amidst silver waves of dwell Calming whispers of breeze in the river of shame. Passion, akin to stars, ignites a fervent heart flame In a realm where spirits bloom, the sun rises high Calming whispers of breeze in the river of shame Courtly grins shine in a sea of silver, but never lie. In a realm where spirits bloom, the sun rises high Bolts of light arise as schooners set sail on elixir Courtly grins shine in a sea of silver, but never lie Inspiration, unwavering truthfulness, zero mixer. Bolts of light arise as schooners set sail on elixir Soul's desire glances at the divine through grace Inspiration, unwavering truthfulness, zero mixer an everlasting rattling—an auspicious embrace. Soul's desire glances at the divine through grace A melody that resonates in the recesses of the soul An everlasting rattling—an auspicious embrace Led by the One who transcends all forms of control. A melody resonates in the recesses of the soul Devotion drenches every corner where souls grow Led by the One who transcends all forms of control Serving as an eternal beacon of boundless joy flow. Devotion drenches every corner where souls grow Genuine grins shine amidst silver waves of dwell Serving as an eternal beacon of boundless joy flow The moon rises high in a land where spirits swell.

Las, you bury the repetition of this pantoum in an amazing way you seem to change the meaning of a line already used, and make it a brand new line. Its like magic. That's it ! You are The Magician of the Written Word. I bow to your genius.
