Passionate Dreamer

I missed you last night
Alone in my bed quivering from our past delight
Thinking of how we made love
and how I touched you, my beloved

It taunted me with memories of you
Here in my view
I miss your eyes
As blue as skies
Watching me and warming my soul
How it consoles

I was caught in a gust of thunderous passion
Before I knew what had happened
I wake now with strength of you in me
And back to sleep, deep I go
Where I shall see, you wandering in my dreams

Streams of you rush through me that bind
My sensors soared and intertwined
I know my hunger will mend
Then it will ascend

I dream of us running breathlessly through the dark
Climbing clouds like a lark
I feel your pulse beating in time
Hearts of hunger a hidden crime
I missed you last night
I will not leave this dream till it is light
