Passionate Desire

It burns my heart and torments my mind
not loving you would be so unkind.
The breath, the touch, the kiss repeat
  so tenderly sweet and indiscreet.
Cheek blush, fast heartbeat on the rise
  meanings hidden in separate guise.

What set our souls afire?

Kiss me here, touch me there
run your finger through my hair.
Hold me close, press your body tight to mine
it's a moment in paradise sublime.
You drew me in by just a glance
as we engage in ritualistic dance.

Is this our moment of love?

Entwined bodies roll and slide
as easily as the evening tide.
Should there be a hint of any regret
our merge writhes in a tethered net.
Hold fast the brief interlude of fire
as we are wrapped within our passionate desire.
