PASSING WORLD

How beautiful those moments could be
Holding hands with loved ones
Mimicking and laughing at jokes
Of old stories never told.

Like a dress that has seen too much sun
Those moments fade away by the day.
Like the fading vocals of your favorite song
At the end, you wish the singer would stay.

The world is but a stop on our journey
And though continuity is certain
We must cherish those fleeting moments
For this is just a passing world.

How very true, it may be fleeting but worth remembering! The best is yet to come! Xoxo
