Passing Time

Passing time away on a rainy sunday.
Same old blues bringing me down.
I smoke a cigarette and listen to the radio.
I get lost within the sound.
Reminiscing again.
Remembering Back when you were my friend.
I always thought that I'd see you again.
But thoughts fade like night into day.
Memories change as time slips away.
Still theres no more looking back for me today.
Cause I've seen how time can slip away.
Looking backwards you just can't see today.
So I move on in this world anyway.
It's all messed up but I'll find my way.
